Our database hosting is second to none.  We use high quality PCI compliant Windows 2019 servers. 

Here are our database hosting features for all plans.

• Free setup.  No contracts.  Cancel anytime.
  
• You get your own VPS (Virtual Private Server) server in the cloud.  This means your database is not on a shared system with other users.  You simply use a wired internet connection and the Collections MAX software to connect to your online database.
  
• If you have an existing database or need to move from your current database hosting provider (that is hosting your Collections MAX database) we will move it free of charge.  You will have all notes, payments, users, everything like before with the other host.
• Daily backups and weekly snapshots.  Your backups are encrypted and stored in a private bucket using BackBlaze B2  storage hosting.
• Your server has it’s own static ip address. 
• Remote Desktop Connection (RDP).  We also configure the remote desktop connection for you so you can log into the server directly and import accounts.
• Collections MAX Administrator and Scheduler both installed on the server itself.  Collections MAX Scheduler is setup and configured.
• If ordered Monday-Thursday the setup time is one business day.  Friday and weekend orders are processed on Monday.
• Database Hosting allows you to add on other Collections MAX add-ons like our Payment Portal.  So debtors can pay their debts derectly to you online from their web browser or cell phone.

Our VPN plans have all the options as above plus…

• Free VPN client software.
• We close the ports to MariaDB / MySQL in the firewall so that it won’t be possible for users to connect to your database without VPN authorization.
  
• A server with a VPN is considerably harder to gain access to for an intruder.  Servers without a VPN with open ports are not considered to be PCI compliant.
• We configure the user names and passwords to the VPN and send you all the settings you need in order to connect to your server.
• We will walk you through setting up the VPN software on your end for a user.  Then you will be able to easily configure your other users.

Database hosting is not a stand alone system.  You will still need software like Collections MAX Professional and Collections MAX Administrator to connect to your database.

Here is a breakdown of our hosting plans.  These costs are per SERVER.  Not per USER.  You can simply add users by purchasing additional Collections MAX Professional licenses.
