{"id":80,"date":"2017-10-26T06:02:17","date_gmt":"2017-10-26T06:02:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/?page_id=80"},"modified":"2026-02-20T16:28:38","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T21:28:38","slug":"support","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.collectionsmax.com\/index.php\/home\/support","title":{"rendered":"Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Decca Software Company offers free ticket system based support for the &#8220;Collections MAX&#8221; Debt Collection Software.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please note that in order to keep our support services free we DO NOT support MySQL or MariaDB (the database) that Collections MAX uses (unless we are hosting your database on our servers).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">MySQL is owned and supported by the Oracle Corporation.\u00a0 MariaDB is owned by K1 Investment Management.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you need help with the MySQL server such as resetting the root password, configuring the server,moving databases from one server to another, troubleshooting network issues, performance tuning, installation, data backups&#8230;..etc,\u00a0 you may need to purchase a MySQL Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition License from Oracle and get support from the Oracle Corporation for your MySQL server or contact one of our consultants that can assist you for a fee.\u00a0 We also cannot help you troubleshoot your network problems and you may need to hire an experienced\u00a0 network professional if you need help with your network.\u00a0 We have consultants available that can assist you with issues that our support does not cover for a fee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 <strong><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/CollectionsMAXDownloads\/documentation\/CollectionsMAXConsultants.pdf\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\">You can download their contact information by clicking here.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our support is considered basic email ticket support and if you require telephone support please contact one of our consultants who provide paid services that are outside of our free support services. We do not charge any type of monthly support or maintenance fees for use of our software.\u00a0 This greatly benefits our users by only requiring them to pay for additional support services when needed instead of paying an additional monthly fee regardless if they needed support or not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Training and installation is not included in the purchase price of the software.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I.T. services such as configuring email servers, writing or adding letters or emails into the software, configuring your website, internet, networking,\u00a0 or other I.T. related services are not included in our support and you may need to contact one of our consultants or an I.T. support company that provides those services.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Any tickets submitted or any emails received without regard to the above policy will simply be deleted without notice.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Support ticket hours are Monday &#8211; Friday 10am-4pm Eastern Time.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tickets received outside of that time will be processed the next business day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><code><strong>\n<span class=\"mb-bhi-display mb-bhi-closed\">\n\t<span class=\"mb-bhi-oc-text\">Ticket support closed.
