sizes=\"(max-width: 1012px) 100vw, 1012px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The state licensing tool is a nice utility that can help you close out accounts that are in states that you are not licensed to collect debt in.\u00a0 If you happen to get a complaint from a person in a state that you are not licensed in you can be fined tens of thousands of dollars by that state.\u00a0 This tool makes closing out those accounts easy and helps identify illegal pay day loans in states that have outlawed them.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Choosing states you are licensed in.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2580\" src=\"https:\/\/www.collectionsmax.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/editstates.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"119\" height=\"49\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you click the Edit states button you will be able to select the states that you are currently licensed n.\u00a0 You will see a popup like below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2581 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.collectionsmax.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/statesscreen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"754\" sizes=\"(max-width: 754px) 100vw, 754px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Checking these boxes will allow you to set the states that you are licensed in.\u00a0 Unchecking them will remove them from the list.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Save Settings button<\/span> &#8211; allows you to make a backup of your settings file.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Load Settings button<\/span> &#8211; loads your settings file.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Check All button<\/span> &#8211; places a checkmark in all boxes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Un-Check All button<\/span> &#8211; Unchecks all boxes.<\/p>\n<p>The Ok button will save all of your settings while the Cancel button will not save any changes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2598 size-full\" sizes=\"(max-width: 369px) 100vw, 369px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Claim Status selector allows you to tailor what type of accounts you want the system to bring up when you click the Select Accounts button.\u00a0 Accounts in Collections MAX hace a main status (like NEWBIZ or Bankruptcy) and a Claim Status.\u00a0 Thie claim status is set in Utilities \/ Status Names inside Collections MAX Administrator.<\/p>\n<p>You might want to pull up only accounts that have an Open claim status.\u00a0 In this case you would only check off the Open selection.\u00a0 However you can also use the Do not Dial, Closed, and Ignore Claim Status features.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Selecting Accounts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.collectionsmax.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/selectaccounts.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"135\" height=\"42\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Clicking the Select Accounts button will fill the left data grid with all accounts from states that you are not license in and have the claim status that you chose above.\u00a0 The resulting accounts can then have actions done on them such as closing them out (change to a different status) or moved into different desks so collectors don&#8217;t work them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2607\" src=\"https:\/\/www.collectionsmax.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/excludebuttonstate.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"98\" height=\"41\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Selecting an account from the left data grid and then clicking the Exclude button will remove it from any processing&#8230;.but it will still keep the account in the database.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2609\" src=\"https:\/\/www.collectionsmax.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/paydayrules.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"123\" height=\"41\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Clicking the Pay Day Rules button will bring up accounts that appear to violate state pay day rules where they are outlawed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" button.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Changing account status in bulk or one at a time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2544 sizes=\"(max-width: 378px) 100vw, 378px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The status change system let&#8217;s you change the account status on all accounts in the left data grid or on a single account.\u00a0 To choose your admin status click on the skinny Status Select button.\u00a0 You will see the following popup.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2546 size-full\" Clicking OK will show the status on the main form.<\/p>\n<p>The Change Single button will change the SELECTED account that is in the left data grid to your choosen status.<\/p>\n<p>The Change All button will change all of your accounts listed in the left data grid to your choosen status.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Change Client And Portfolio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" the Client and Portfolio on your listed accounts.\u00a0 Clicking this button brings up the following screen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2554\" src=\"https:\/\/www.collectionsmax.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/clientandportoptions.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"293\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Clicking the client drop down will allow you to select which client you want.\u00a0 The portfolio section will automatically populate with a list of portfolios from the selected client.<\/p>\n<p>If you select Change Single Account &#8211; the client and portfolio will be changed on only the selected account in the left grid.<\/p>\n<p>If you select Change all accounts &#8211; all accounts will be changed to the selected client and portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Re-Assigning Accounts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2617 size-full\" sizes=\"(max-width: 363px) 100vw, 363px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this section you can re-assign accounts in the system that are in the left data grid.\u00a0 The drop down will allow to to selech which collector to assign the accounts to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assign One<\/strong> &#8211; Assigns the selected collector the account that is selected in the left dta grid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assign All<\/strong> &#8211; Assigns all accounts to the selected
