Collections MAX Scheduler needs the database root password and server location when it starts up so it can retrieve the settings that you created inside Collections MAX Administrator. Start up the Collections MAX Scheduler for the first time by double clicking on it’s icon or launching it from the Windows Start menu like below.

Since there is no configuration file yet…Collections MAX Scheduler will open the Configure Database connection screen as shown below. Make sure to enter the location of the MySQL database server in the Server box and the root MySQL password in the Password box. Then click the Test button.
If the root password was accepted then simply click the OK button to save the configuration file.
You will see the following prompt below if your settings have been saved successfully.
