To All Collections MAX users,

Microsoft has depreciated the desktop Skype API that Collections MAX uses and we will be shortly removing the integration from our software.  Skype wasn't the best choice for a VOIP provider for a call center due to their account limitations....which happened a few months after the initial integration.


Skype no longer works with Collections MAX .....however in order to get it to work you MIGHT be able to download an older version of the Skype client and change the settings to not auto update itself to the latest version.   It hasn't been tested yet by us but it "could" work.

As we move away from Skype we look forward to integrating the next version of the software with other VOIP providers that will be much more compatible with collection agencies needs.

I also have to say that Microsoft really dropped the ball on this...as they offered no alternatives to replace the Skype integration for desktop apps which some of our smaller agencies still use.
